Try using it in these situations

  • When you want to make sure everyone who should have joined today is in the classroom
  • When participants doesn't know how to edit their name
  • When noise comes through participants microphone and causes them to turn it off
  • When participants aren't paying attention and are distracted by pressing buttons around the room.
  • When certain participants and teachers interact, but the rest of the participants want to stay in view mode.
  • When you need to remove a disruptive participants from your class

Use it this way

The details of each access adjustment are as follows

  • Change nickname: Allows the host to change the name of a participant in the meeting room.
  • Make presenter: Allows participants to become presenters
  • Lock Camera: Allows host to force a participant's camera to be turned off.
  • Microphone lock: Allows host to force participants' mics to be turned off.
  • Page lock: Allows host to force participants' from moving to another page.
  • Drawing lock: Prevents participants from drawing or erasing on the whiteboard with the pen tool.
  • Exit: Force a participant to disconnect from the meeting room.

How to control permissions for participants

  • Click the button in the upper-right corner in the classroom to check a list of people currently in the classroom.
  • Click the right button of the participant whose permissions you want to adjust.
  • Click the permission you want to adjust for that participant

How to check allowed or locked permissions for the current participant

  • Click the button in the upper-right corner in the classroom to check a list of people currently in the classroom.
  • In the list of participants, icons show which permissions are locked next to the participant's name.
  • If there are no icons, all permissions are granted.

How to adjust permissions for all participants at once

💡 Notes

Adjusting permissions for all participants is only visible when there are 3 or more participants, including the host

  • Click the top-right button in the classroom to go to the list of participants.
  • Click the top-right full control button.
  • Click the permission you want to adjust.

  • After adjusting permissions, you'll see a locked status to the right of all participants except you (the host).
