Understanding "Presenter mode"
- The "presenter" in Pagecall is a special status in the classroom that is separate rom the host concept.
- Only a host can assign other participants as presenters.
- Only when you become a presenter will you be able to use the "Screenshare" and "Gather" features in Pagecall.
- You can make all participants follow your every move.
How to be a presenter
- Click the
button in the upper-right corner of the whiteboard.
- The host will check and decide whether to make you a presenter.
- If you're not a presenter and you press the screen share button, you'll automatically apply to be a presenter.
Solution when the presenter button is not pressed
- If a participant is already assigned as a presenter, other participants can't apply to be a presenter.
- In this case, the existing presenter should press the presenter button again to release the presenter first.
How to release a presenter
- Click the
button in the upper-right corner of the whiteboard.
- Click the participants list
in the upper right corner of the room and click the (...) button next to your name to dismiss the speaker.
