How to share a screen on a user's device
- Press the
third of the
three icons in the upper-left corner of the classroom.
- Press the Screenshare button and select the type of screen sharing you want.

- Chrome Tab: Share only the one "tab" you are currently viewing within the Chrome browser.
- If you check "Share tab audio" in the bottom left corner, the audio from the shared tab will also be sent to the other person. Audio is not shared in a Mac environment.
- Window: Allows you to share the currently running program (the entire Chrome browser, MS Excel, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Full screen: The full screen of the current sharing user will be shared as is
- If you check "Share system audio" in the bottom left corner, audio from the current user's PC will also be sent to the other person. Audio is not shared in a Mac environment.
What to do if screen sharing doesn't work on Mac
- If you're using a Mac, you may not have screen sharing permissions set up on your system.
- If you see the following screen when you press the screen sharing button on Pagecall, please check your permissions as follows.
- Go to Settings on macOS by tapping the "System Preferences" text on the screen.
- Go to the [System Preferences] and click the Security & Privacy.
- Press the [Privacy] tab.
- Press the [Screen Recording].
- Press the [Google Chrome] box on the right and you're done.
Solution if the screen sharing button is disabled
- When another participant is already screen sharing
- It is not possible for multiple participants to screenshare at the same time.
- Ask the participant who is currently screen sharing to stop screen sharing.
- When using tablets and mobile devices (iPad, Galaxy Tab, iPhone).
- Screen sharing is not available on mobile devices. Please connect via a PC or laptop.
- The host in the classroom declines your speaker request.
- You should be a "presenter" to share your screen.
- When you click the screenshare button, you can ask the host in the classroom to be the presenter. However, if no one is currently assigned as the presenter, you will automatically be changed to the presenter.
