Checking the operation of the webcam, microphone, and headphones

  1. Please access https://webcammictest.com/check-mic.html using a recommended browser like Chrome and click on "Check My Microphone."

    *Please note that the mentioned website, https://webcammictest.com/check-mic.html, is not a test site provided by Pagecall. It is an external web service unrelated to Pagecall that allows you to check your webcam, microphone, and headphones for free. The screenshot below may appear slightly different depending on the circumstances of that particular service provider.

  2. Click on "Grant Mic Access" to allow microphone usage.

  3. If the microphone is functioning properly, you will see sound waves appearing on the screen.

  4. If the microphone is not functioning correctly, please try the following:
    • Check if you have any other microphone available and try connecting it. If it works with a different microphone, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the previously connected microphone for repairs.

    • If you are using a wireless microphone, try connecting a wired microphone to see if it works.

    • Reboot your device and try again.

    • If the microphone works correctly with other services but not Pagecall, please contact our customer support for further assistance.

Checking the operation of the camera (webcam):

  2. Click on "Grant Camera Access" to allow camera usage.

  4. If the webcam is not working correctly, please try the following steps:
    • Check your laptop's management program: Some laptop management programs, like Lenovo Vantage, Dell SupportAssist, or LG Control Center, may have settings to disable webcam usage for security purposes. Check the settings of your laptop's management program to ensure the webcam is not blocked.

    • Reboot your device: Try restarting your laptop and then test the webcam again.

    • If the webcam works correctly with other services but not Pagecall, please contact our technical support for further assistance.

If there are issues with video and audio despite a successful test

Chrome browser

  1. When accessing Pagecall, please click "Allow" when prompted in the following window.

  2. If you accidentally clicked on "Block" in the prompt mentioned in step 1, Click on the "Lock" icon located on the left side of the web address in your browser. Change the values from "Block" to "Allow" for both camera and microphone. Refresh the Pagecall website and try accessing the camera and microphone again.

  3. If the issue persists, another program may be using your camera or microphone. Close any other applications or programs that might be using the camera or microphone. This includes video conferencing apps, communication tools, or other software that may access these devices. Refresh the browser or restart the application you are using for Pagecall. This will ensure that the camera and microphone are available exclusively for Pagecale.

Safari browser

  1. When accessing Pagecall, please click "Allow" when prompted in the following window.

  2. If you accidentally clicked "Cancel" in the prompt mentioned in step 1, Click on the "AA" button located on the left side of the web address in your Safari browser. In the dropdown menu, select "Website Settings."

  3. Adjust the permissions for the camera and microphone to "Allow." Close the settings tab and refresh the Pagecall website.

  4. If the issue persists, another program may be using your camera or microphone. Close any other applications or programs that might be using the camera or microphone. This includes video conferencing apps, communication tools, or other software that may access these devices. Refresh the browser or restart the application you are using for Pagecall. This will ensure that the camera and microphone are available exclusively for Pagecall.
